However, on rare occasions, a scene will flash in my mind purely from looping a specific song. I will then piece the artwork together using various references to capture that mental image. Personally, I always identify what I want the audience to notice first, which leads me to work backward compared to traditional art methods. I draw the main elements first, soft lock them into position, and then build the background around them. This approach drastically improves my efficiency. I avoid over-perfecting the background early on because it ultimately serves as a supporting element to the main subject. If you keep repeating this process, you will quickly realize just how capable you are. Finally, always challenge yourself with something new.
